I'm so glad a friend gifted me this book. I picked it up soon after my mom passed after battling cancer for ~8 months. It deeply resonated with me in how I navigated my mom's health journey with her. The note-taking, organization of paperwork, attention to detail, relationship-building with medical professionals, unapologetic and courageous inquiries, glossary of common medical terms, and the emphasis on self-care were so spot on.
